Introducing Blacker! This font is created by Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini and has been uploaded to the Zetafonts website. As a take on the contemporary “evil serif” genre: geometric and bold forms combined with the up-rounded, 1970s-inspired shapes of wedge serifs.
Design details have been fine-tuned in two subfamilies: the display variant has more packed letters, higher contrast and sharper corners that allow to deliver maximum result on the huge size, but the text variant seems to be more suitable for online usage, it’s more readible and has less contrast. Every subfamily is available in six levels from condense to black, with true, postscript italics to cover the entire spectrum of editorial and advertising.
